Greek Opposition in Turmoil

In Greece, the left-wing SYRIZA party was rocked by the resignation of its president, Sokratis Famellos, in what Greek media described as a “tsunami” of developments. A fresh MRB poll showed that while the ruling New Democracy party remains firmly in first place, seven out of ten Greek voters want political change — a paradox that highlights deep public dissatisfaction with the available alternatives.
