The war in the Middle East showed no signs of abating. According to live coverage from Le Monde and Germany’s Der Spiegel, Israel was targeted by Iranian missiles, while Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that Israeli strikes on Iran and Lebanon would continue. Lufthansa and its subsidiary airlines have cancelled numerous connections to the Middle East through the end of October. Since the conflict began, more than 4,000 people have been killed, Der Spiegel reported.
