In a conflict that continues to receive insufficient global attention, drone strikes on civilian vehicles killed at least 20 people in Sudan this week. Human rights groups said the attack “was deliberate and carried out using a guided drone,” calling on the international community to pressure the Rapid Support Forces leadership to stop targeting civilians. The strikes are part of a devastating civil war that has displaced millions since erupting in April 2023.
