Zelensky’s remarks came after Putin rejected a proposal that would have involved halting long-range strikes and reducing hostilities. The Ukrainian president argued that Putin is out of touch with the reality facing ordinary Russians, who are now dealing with fuel queues — a direct consequence, Zelensky said, of Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil infrastructure.
